We are a group of crazy artists

“What a language it is, the laughter of women,
high-flying and subversive.
Long before law and scripture
we heard the laughter, we understood freedom.”

-Lisel Mueller

Natyansh is a venture of theatre enthusiasts, keen to touch millions of lives who could only aspire to become an ARTIST. We ourselves as a society have clenched our feet and have always adhered to the   “Act of ambition” to rectify the talents we nurture. In the realm of performative arts, we have now completed our 6 long years as a NGO registered under the ‘1957 society act: 12AA of income tax act’.

We have sailed a long way in the ocean of injustice. On elaborating, Natyansh initially was a project against insecurities of society. We started our journey just with the road shows and weekly nukkad plays. People accepted the change for themselves as well as for the societies. Over the time, number of artists got associated with us. Along with the lineup of societal issues we have raised our major concern for questionable survival of Artists. Artists are the fundamental representation of culture and ethos of any country or community.

We have conducted a whole lot of workshops to work upon the existing issues of society; our team has always looked forward for such activities to dwell upon. We have even laid our work with other renowned NGOs in Udaipur. Taking into the consideration, Udaipur is enlisted as one of the beautiful city of India. It has a heritage and history that goes way behind in the past. The city rises along with the sunlight falling on to beautiful hills and goes to sleep when sun sets down on the horizon of fatehsagar. The theatre culture seems like a lost art in here but certainly we have our roots in theatre as asserted by our historians.

Our main motto works on the principle of “redefining the conflicts of art.” Growing into a mega city, we have sensed a spark of creativity, subjectivity, freedom and a determination to work. Our team at Natyansh is like a bowl of all the cereals; Natyansh is not just an activity it is a family of people giving their best to nurture the culture of Natyansh. It’s very obsolete to mention but we have so many artists who belongs to different communities and religion, but it has only screened he sense of unity that we care about as a family.

Once Mohammad Ali said –

“Rivers, ponds, lakes and streams – they all have different names, but they all               contain water. Just as religions do – the all contain truths.”
