We are Natyansh

Natyansh society of dramatic and performing arts came into existence when like minded and passionate theater artist of Udaipur joined hands with a resolve to do something about various social issues being faced in our society. Theatre was our passion and we resolved to create mass awareness on social issues and bring about social change through the medium of theatre – street plays, stage shows and theatre workshops. The theater movement caught on, and more and more enthusiasts joined hands for this noble cause.  Today the passion continues and the fire is burning. It is this passion and fire that is NATYANSH.

National Theatre Festival “ALFAAZ” is organized by the Natyansh Society of Dramatic and Performing Arts in city of lakes Udaipur every year in December. The theme of this theatre festival is to highlight and create awareness about the status of women in our society. This year we are organizing an online photography competition to promote this cause and make more and more people aware about this cause.

Just like theatre, photography is also an art form. A picture is better than thousand words. Just like theatre, a picture can touch a chord in the hearts of people and make them aware of the status of women in our society. Even as an amateur, if you have an eye for a good shot and scene, you can click a picture that will send a loud message of awareness which is better than a thousand words.

Click speaking pictures and send to us. The best picture will get a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- and two runners up will each get a cash prize of Rs.500/-.

Results will be announced on first evening of 6th National Theatre Festival Alfaaz 2018. i.e., 30th November, 2018

3) Description

4) Relevance to theme

5) Technical data like angle, quality, details etc…

2. You can also mail your Photograph, on [ natyansh@gmail.com ] ,with the subject “Photograph Submission for Alfaaz2018” and with proper details in message body i.e.. #your name # address #contact no. #caption of the image # description.
3. You can also Message your Submission on our Facebook Page
4. Whatsapp submission are also available on +91-9887624064, but Natyansh Society can call for Original photograph whenever needed. Please provide all the details with the Whatsapp submission.

 

Why Photography Contest with Theatre festival ‘Alfaaz’?

We ‘the people of Natyansh Society of Dramatics and Performing Arts’ usually get this type of question that why we are going with photography contest with Theatre festival; according to our motto ‘theatre awareness in people’ we need to find some different sources that connect children, youth and citizens to us, every time we  come up with different ideas and we organise this type of events so that people get in touch with us, and automatically when they join our world they enter in the world of theatre.
