Play ‘Pocketmar Rangmandal’ will be performed on 9 Aug. 2019

Natyansh Society of Dramatic and Performing Arts in association with Zonal Railway Training Institute cordially invites you to play ‘Pocketmar Rangmandal’ which shall be performed on August 09, 2019. Written by well known playwright Shri Asghar Wajahat and directed by Rekha Sisodia, play is based on pickpocket becoming a theatre artist.

The play revolves around Bhagwan, a thief, who wants to become an actor. Being a burglar in the past, the director asks him to play a side role, instead of giving main character which he deserves. Disappointed from behavior of other artists and directors, he forms his new drama group named ‘Pocketmar Rangmandal’, in which artists are pickpockets. These people struggle with drama rehearsals, places like hall bookings etc.. Finally, to arrange money for auditorium, Bhagwan goes to steal again but he was caught by the police. Will he be able to perform first show of his Pocketmar Rangmandal?
