The ennobling workshop on theatre arts began with the showcase an awe-inspiring solo play ‘Astitva’ written and directed by Amit Shrimali and various characters played by Rekha Sisodia. Play was based on fostering the dignity of a woman in the society, it entails a story of Vaidehi who wants to pursue theatre but every time faces rejection because she’s a girl. After play, an interactive session was held between students and artists in which many questions regarding the story of play, characters and theatre arts were asked. An answer to every question was given by team Natyansh. This interactive session was then followed by theatre workshop, where Abdul Mubin Khan and Ashfaq Noor Khana Pathan engaged the students with theatrical games and activities which took them into a mood of euphoria and merriment. With the help of games, few small but important tips and tricks were given which they can use not only in theatre but also in their day to day life.
